Our user group consists of technology professionals, data specialists and administrators within Michigan School Districts.  We are formerly known as the Michigan CIMS User Group because our members utilized NCS Pearson's CIMS® Software for Student Services and/or Payroll & Finance.  Although our members currently utilize CIMS® applications, we have grown to become more than a CIMS® user group.  The name of the group changed to reflect this growth:  UNITE - Users Networking In Technology for Education.
	Our objectives are to advance the knowledge and understanding of our members and School Districts throughout Michigan in education technology and provide a forum to interact on concerns and provide ideas, institute methods and future directions in computer assisted educational management systems.
